US military: 2 Americans killed, 6 wounded in Iraq
BAGHDAD — The U.S. military says two Americans have been killed and six others wounded in a car bomb attack in Iraq.
American forces in Iraq’s north confirmed the attack, which took place on Friday. They say three Iraqi troops were also killed and 22 were wounded.

BAGHDAD (AP) — Iraqi officials say at least four people have been killed when a car bomb struck near an American convoy on patrol outside Baghdad.
Police and local officials say the victims included an Iraqi policeman and a female civilian. They are not able to say whether American soldiers were also killed.
The U.S. military did not immediately provide details of the incident.
Local authorities say the attack on the American patrol of Humvee and Stryker vehicles happened about 10 a.m. on Friday in central Jalula, about 80 miles (125 kilometers) northeast of Baghdad.
The Iraqi officials spoke on condition of anonymity because they are not authorized to speak publicly.
