Triple tragedy in family in Jammu and Kashmir

JAMMU - Triple tragedy struck a household in Banihal area of Jammu and Kashmir when two sisters died of shock after seeing the body of their brother who was killed when he slipped into a gorge.

Police said that Abdul Latif, a resident of Sarach village in Banihal, 180 km north of Jammu, fell into the gorge Thursday.

When his body was brought home, one of his sisters Shafiqa Bano died of shock. Soon after, another sister Shehnaz collapsed and died.
