BEIJING - In a massive crackdown against internet pornography, Chinese authorities have warned 55 websites of tough action if they continue to disseminate porn materials.

Fiftyfive internet websites, who were found to be providing pornographic flash games and porn cellphone games, will be shutdown if they continue to offer downloads of such materials, China’s General Administration of Press and Publication (GAPP) said.

GAPP asked the websites to delete any lewd and pornographic content or risk having their internet connection cut off, Xinhua reported.

In March, the GAPP released a list of 48 domestic websites on which pornographic cyber and cellphone games were available.
