Australian man stabbed to death by six people

SYDNEY - Six people including a woman stabbed to death a 30-year-old man at a suburban beach town near here in Australia in the wee hours Sunday, police said.

Police received a report at 1 a.m. local time that a man with multiple stab wounds had staggered to a house in Dee Why, a beach town north of Sydney.

The victim was taken to the Royal North Shore Hospital in a serious condition. But he succumbed to his injuries a short time later, Sydney Morning Herald reported.

Six people including a woman were arrested in this connection and taken for interrogation.
