Two labourers killed in Delhi mishap

NEW DELHI - Two labourers were killed here Tuesday when a stone-laden truck they were sitting on overturned after the ground caved in, police said.

The incident took place in Netaji Nagar in southwest Delhi. Gulram, 47, and Bhagirath, 27, died after they were trapped under the stones, a police officer said.

“They were sitting on the stones and suddenly the ground caved in and the truck turned turtle. They were rushed to the hospital but were declared brought dead,” the officer added.
