Second victim of stampede identified

NEW DELHI - The second victim of the stampede which claimed two lives at the New Delhi railway station Sunday has been identified, Police said Monday.
Govind (10) was identified Monday by his father Anil Rai.
“Anil Rai, father of Govind, identified the body today,” a senior police official told IANS.
According to police, Rai who was himself injured in the stampede was discharged Monday and identified his son’s body in the mortuary.
“Earlier, the description that Rai gave matched the body but due to Rai’s injuries, he was not physically able to identify his son,” the official said.
A woman and a boy were killed in a stampede at the busy New Delhi railway station Sunday when hundreds of people rushed to catch a Bihar-bound train and fell over one another on a foot overbridge.
