PANAJI - A Swedish model and former girlfriend of an Israeli drug dealer has claimed that the latter has threatened to kill her with the help of anti-narcotics police officials.
Lucky Farmhouse, 33, snapped spy cam videos of her former boyfriend Yaniv Benaim alias Atala in the past, and these helped bust one of the biggest police-narcotics mafia nexus in Goa.
“Today the chief called me.. Chief tell me you are finished for life… You understand… As now you need to think about this little bit you b****,” Atala has said, while threatening Lucky telephonically, after she uploaded damning videos on www.youtube.com.
The ‘Chief’ referred to by Atala, is suspected to be a former in-charge of the anti-narcotics cell (ANC) police inspector.
In earlier tapes too, Atala has referred to him as “Chief”.
“Now if you start to make something, you are in big problem,… Lucky, I have your address.. I have everything…,” Atala threatened Lucky, after she moved back to Sweden, after learning of Atala’s ties with the drugs mafia a couple of years back.
“You understand what I do to you… I pay for people to make you pay for life…,” Atala further threatened.
Seven police officials, including a police inspector and a subinspector, have already been arrested for their links to Goa’s notorious narcotics mafia over the last two months.
Lucky has also claimed that she has more spycam videos of a leading Goan politician’s son dealing with narcotics ring leaders.
The investigating police have come under severe criticism for trying to sabotage the probe into Goa’s politicians, policemen and narcotics mafia nexus.
The Crime Branch, which has been entrusted the probe has also been accused of slowing down the probe and giving VIP treatment to the arrested policemen.
Deputy Superintendent of Police Chandrakant Salgaonkar of the Crime Branch when contacted said that they had not seen this new batch of tapes yet, and that he was not in a position to comment.
