NEW DELHI - Buoyed by the success of its special cell to act against obscene calls, Delhi Police will Saturday start another cell to check stalking of women, Police Commissioner Y.S. Dadwal said Friday.

“The helpline (anti-stalking) will start tomorrow (Saturday) to help vulnerable women in the city,” he said.

The helpline will be an extension of the existing anti-obscene cell.

“Already there is an anti-obscene calls cell which has been a huge success,” he said.

Over 14,000 calls were made to the anti-obscene calls cell till March this year, the Delhi POlice chief said.
