NEW DELHI - Two factories were damaged in separate fire incidents in the capital Saturday night, while another blaze in a high-rise also destroyed valuable property, police said. However, no casualties were reported.

The first fire was reported in Narela Industrial area in northwest Delhi in a leather factory. The blaze damaged the stored goods, according to the fire department.

As many as 30 fire tenders were rushed to the spot and fire officials faced a tough time in putting out the fire.

“The fire started on the third floor of the building and within an hour it spread to the floors below,” a fire official said.

The second incident was reported from an Okhla-based factory in south Delhi. Fifteen fire tenders battled to douse the fire.

The third incident occurred in Rajendra Place in west Delhi, where an office of an air conditioner company was gutted.

The company was located on the 10th floor of Vikram Tower. Twelve fire tenders along with a crane were sent to the spot, the official said.
