Narcotics gang busted in Delhi, four men nabbed

NEW DELHI - A gang supplying narcotics in the capital was busted with the arrest of four people, police said Friday.
According to police, Abdul Hafiz, 36, Atik ur Rahman, 38, Nabi Khan, 36, and Abdul Hamid, 28, were arrested in the city’s north-east area and over one kg of heroin was seized from them.
“A trap was laid after a secret information was received by the police that the leader (Abdul Hamid) is coming to receive a consignment of heroin,” a police official said.
The four were arrested when two of the members handed over the bag of heroin to Hamid.
Investigations are on, the police official said.
