Delhi businessman slapped with molestation charges

NEW DELHI - A businessman has been slapped with molestation charges after he allegedly groped a woman, police said Thursday.

Vineet Tokas (25), a resident of Kalindi Kunj in south-east Delhi, was arrested and later released on bail after a resident of the same locality alleged that Tokas tried to rape her when he offered her a ride.

“A medical examination was conducted on the victim, but no indications of rape were found,” a police official said.

Further investigations in the case are on.
