Chhattisgarh businessmen looted in train

RAIPUR - Unidentified men looted about Rs.450,000 in cash, laptops and other valuables from two Chhattisgarh-based businessmen in a train, police said Sunday.

Amit, 29, and Anurag, 35, were returning to Chhattisgarh’s Rajnandgaon town from Kolkata in the Mumbai-Howrah Mail Saturday night when unidentified robbers took away their suitcases.

“The suitcases had a total of Rs.450,000 in cash, two laptops and gold ornaments,” Raipur Government Railway Police (GRP) thana incharge K.C. Dey said quoting from the complaint filed by the victims.
