NEW DELHI - Delhi Lt. Governor Tejendra Khanna Saturday appealed to the people to be vigilant following a fresh terror advisory by the US.

“I appeal to people to be vigilant when they go out in crowded places, shopping complexes and markets,” said Khanna.

The US Saturday issued an advisory warning its citizens of “increased indications” of terrorists planning “imminent attacks” in the markets of the Indian capital.

This is the third such US advisory in a month.

It advises Americans travelling or residing in India to maintain “a high level of vigilance” and watch out for unattended packages.

Delhi Police has also asked the people to cautious and pass on information about anything suspicious objects.
