Long Island woman sues Victoria Gotti
RIVERHEAD, N.Y. — A Long Island woman is suing Victoria Gotti, claiming she suffered serious injuries in a car accident with the mob widow last year.
Valerie Palleschi accused the former first lady of the Gambino crime family of hitting her car on a highway in February 2009.
Both women were injured, but no tickets were issued. The police report did not say how badly they were hurt.
Palleschi and her lawyer did not return calls for comment.
Gotti is the wife of “Dapper Don” John Gotti, who died in prison in 2002. He was serving a life sentence for murder and racketeering.
Gotti’s daughter, also named Victoria, characterized the accident as a “fender bender.”
The suit was filed April 1 in state Supreme Court in Riverhead.
