Businessman, guard shot dead in Bihar

PATNA - A businessman and his bodyguard were shot dead by assailants in broad daylight Thursday in Bihar’s Samastipur district, police said.

Kundan Yadav, who owned a automobile showroom, was murdered along with his guard at Madhurapur town.

The murder led to scores of people coming out on the streets demanding immediate arrest of the criminals.

Yadav was also associated with former railway minister Lalu Prasad’d Rashtriya Janata Dal.

Police suspect business rivalry to be the motive for murder.
