KABUL - Forty-seven girl students fell sick Saturday after some men allegedly sprayed toxic materials in their classrooms in Afghanistan’s northern Kunduz province, media reports said.

The incident took place in Khudija Kubra School, Xinhua reported, citing a local TV report.

This is the second incident of its kind in the militancy-plagued Kunduz province.

According to the victims, some unknown men sprayed toxic materials in their classrooms, causing vomiting and dizziness.

Days ago, over a dozen pupils of another girl’s school fell sick in a similar incident.
