NEW DELHI - The Delhi police is well prepared for the coming 2010 Commonwealth Games and all necessary security arrangements have been made, Delhi Police Commissioner Y.S. Dadwal said here Friday.
“Our ongoing security survey, checks and upgradation are well on track. We have a regular anti-sabotage search. Our security personnel are always alert and vigilant,” he told reporters here.
“We are planning a safe and secure Commonwealth Games,” Dadwal added.
When asked about security advisories issued by the US and Australian embassies here to their citizens to be cautious about visiting popular markets, the police chief refused to comment.
