Fire in Delhi factory

NEW DELHI - A fire broke out in a factory in west Delhi area early Thursday, an official said. No one was injured but a fire fighter fell unconscious while dousing the blaze.

“The fire started at a factory manufacturing ball bearings in Peeragarhi area at 1.22 a.m. Thursday. Nine fire tenders were rushed to the spot and it took them nearly four hours to control the fire,” a fire brigade official said.

“Though no one was injured in the fire, a fire fighter fell unconscious during the operations. The cause of the fire is not ascertained as yet,” the official added.
