Tornado Warning in Phoenix, Arizona

PHOENIX (GaeaTimes.com) — Today, Arizona has been issued a tornado alert by The National Weather Service. Severe storm and high speed winds are expected to reach Phoenix until 10PM MST.

National Weather Service Doppler radar indicated that, severe thunderstorms capable of producing damaging winds in excess speed of 60 mph to 70 mph will strike Arizona. The strongest winds are along and ahead of a frontal boundary that is currently pushing through picture rocks and marana.

Meanwhile, reports of tornado actually hitting Arizona are coming. Tornado has destroyed several high voltage electricity polls and has caused flooding in some areas.

There is a possibility that more tornados could hit southwestern Arizona and Southern California. So, people are asked to keep a close watch on weather reports.

Residents of Arizona are filled with excitement as well as fear. While young generation are thrilled to see tornado, elderly people are awestruck knowing the destructive nature of tornado.
