Nainital Witnesses Brothers’ Death

NAINITAL, INDIA (GaeaTimes.com)-A 32 year old man and his 25 year old cousin were drowned to death while they were taking a bath in river Kosi of Nainital. The cops told the media that the two brothers were visiting a wedding held at Nainital. The two brothers who got drowned in the river were identified as Mahesh Molekhi and Munna. The police said that Munna was Mahesh Solanki’s cousin who had accompanied him to take a dip in the river. Many locals said that they have spotted the two going in the waters for a dip following which there was a strong flow of current.
Both the brothers were attending a wedding that was held in the Ramnagar area of Nainital. The two cousins went along together to take a dip in the river Kosi which suddenly witnessed a heavy flow of current that washed away the two brothers miles away. The cops initiated a search for them and the divers retrieved their dead bodies from the water towards the end of the day.
After the primary identification was over, the Nainital police called their families. The two bodies were subjected to an autopsy so as to reconfirm the cause of death and following that the family members was asked to take away the bodies. The police said that River Kosi is generally a silent river but at times there is strong flow of current which washes away one and all and finally they wound up death. It was told by the Nainital police that there had been similar reports of death by drowning where bodies were recovered much later as it was washed away downstream by heavy currents.
