BYRON BAY, AUSTRALIA (GaeaTimes.com)- A swimmer’s body has been found by a beach walker at the Byron Bay Beach. The American swimmer went missing as he went out for surfing in the waters of the bay along with two of his friends. The friends of the swimmer informed the cops about the mishap who called upon the jet ski riders from Surf Rescue to search for the swimmer’s body in the waters of the Bay.

The search party went ahead with their search from the sea to the shore to explore a one kilometer stretch from the Tallows Beach to Broken Head. Unfortunately, they came back empty hands as there was no sign of the swimmer. After the swimmers body was found by the beach walker Lifeguard Service professional Scott McCartney rushed to the beach. When asked about the death of the swimmer, he told the media that he feels that the gutters beneath the bay must have interfered with the swimmer’s movement while he has surfing. As a matter of fact, Scott McCartney said that he has been a witness to a similar incident where a fellow swimmer went down in the waters due to the gutters which proved to be a hassle to the surfer’s movement.

It was told that the dead body of the swimmer was found just at the water’s edge which makes it clear that the swimmer went down off his surfing board in the mid waters of the bay. The cops have scaled the area where the body of the swimmer was found and they wish to carry on a further investigation on it.
