PESHAWAR - Militants in Pakistan beheaded two men, shot dead two others and dumped their bodies on the road on suspicion they were spying for the US, officials said Friday.
The bodies were found in Khadi village, 25 km east of Miranshah, the main town in North Waziristan region near the Afghan border, police officer Kalam Khan was quoted as saying by Geo TV.
Two bodies were headless while the other two had multiple bullet wounds. Two of the men were Afghans while the others were local tribesmen who had been kidnapped three weeks ago, he said.
An intelligence official said a note was found near the bodies that said that “all those spying for the US and Pakistan will suffer the same fate”.
