Julia Gilbert Edmond: Missing Student Found Dead

EDMOND, OKLAHOMA (GaeaTimes.com)- Julia Gilbert Edmond, the Oklahoma University student who had been missing since Friday has been found dead in her car, on Sunday. The body of the 21 year old missing student was discovered in her 2002 Volkswagen Jetta near the Waterloo and Morgan Road in Kingfisher County.
Initial investigations have revealed that Julia Gilbert Edmond was a victim of car crash and died as a result of the injuries that she sustained from the car accident. The authorities could reach the site of the accident after they were notified by a passerby, who noticed the car lying in a deep ditch. Glynda Chu, Edmond police spokesperson has added that it was lucky that anybody could actually spot the car in the deep ravine, as it completely blended with the area surrounding it and was not easily visible from the highway. Police authorities are presuming that the accident took place when Julia Gilbert Edmond’s car skidded off the road and slipped off the bridge.
Julia Gilbert Edmond went missing from Friday, after she left her friend’s place in the 600 block of Belle Air, in Edmond. Sources reveal, that the missing girl was on her way to her parents home when the unfortunate incident took place.
The news of the 21 year old students untimely death comes as a huge shock to her family and friends who had launched a comprehensive search operation to track her whereabouts. Apart from her family and friends, all the law enforcement agencies were also involved in the extensive search operation since Friday.
Meanwhile, Oklahoma Highway Patrol has overtaken the investigation regarding the death of Julia Gilbert Edmond to know the circumstances that led to the accident.
