One killed as bus falls into gorge

PINJORE - One person was killed while over 35 people were injured when a bus carrying a baraat (marriage procession) party fell into a gorge near this Haryana town Tuesday evening, police said.
According to the police, the marriage party was returning after attending a wedding in Dharampur town of Himachal Pradesh.
“One person was killed while over 35 sustained serious injuries. Rescue work is on and the injured people have been brought to civil hospital in Panchkula,” said a police official here Tuesday.
Pinjore town, which falls in Panchkula district of Haryana, is around 25 km from Chandigarh.
