Quake hits Pakistan

ISLAMABAD - A magnitude 7.4 earthquake jolted southwestern Pakistan early Wednesday, the US Geological Survey (USGS) reported on its website.

The temblor occurred at around 1.23 a.m. (2023 GMT Tuesday) at a depth of 10 km, Xinhua reported. There were no immediate reports of any casualties.

The epicentre was some 55 km west of Dalbandin town in Balochistan province.
