Haryana man killed over love affair, hunt on for attackers

ROHTAK - Haryana Police are on the lookout for two youths who allegedly shot dead a 22-year-old for having an affair with a girl in their village. Raids are being conducted in Chandigarh, towns of Haryana and Delhi to arrest the attackers, police said.
According to police, the killed man was identified as Ajay Kumar alias Sahari, a resident of Nindana village in Rohtak district.
“Ajay was shot dead by two youths Monday night. One of the accused is identified as Deepak Nehra whereas his accomplice is yet to be identified,” said investigation officer Krishan Kumar here Wednesday.
“They fled from the village immediately after committing the crime. We are raiding various towns of Haryana, Chandigarh and New Delhi to nab the accused.”
“We suspect a love angle in the incident. The deceased was going around with a girl of the same village and Deepak was annoyed over it. He had earlier threatened Ajay and asked him to stay away from the girl,” he added.
