Worker caught for stealing from CWG office

NEW DELHI - A man, who stole memory sticks from the office of Commonwealth Games Organising Committee CEO Jarnail Singh has been arrested, police said Friday.

“Umesh, who worked as a pantry boy, was caught on CCTV stealing the computer hardware. Investigations revealed that he had been stealing the memory sticks for the past one month from the Organising Committee office in Jantar Mantar,” said a senior police official.

Police officials said that all data was intact and no files were lost due to theft.
