Day after husband’s death, wife commits suicide

NEW DELHI - A 23-year-old woman committed suicide at her residence in east Delhi a day after her husband died of dengue in a city hospital, police said Wednesday.

According to police, Lata Singh was found hanging in her Vishwas Nagar residence Tuesday. Police recovered a suicide note in which Lata claimed that she was depressed over her husband’s death.
