Pakistani man stabs starving daughter to death

KARACHI - A “mentally unstable” Pakistani man stabbed to death his four-year-old daughter in a town near Karachi because she was starving due to his poverty-stricken condition, police said Wednesday.

Javed, a resident of Baldiya town, killed Amina because she was starving, police said, adding that the killer was mentally unstable, Online news agency reported.

This was the second such incident in recent times, after a man last week killed his three children and wife due to poverty and later committed suicide.
