Six die in US road accident

NEW YORK - A church van crashed Saturday killing six people and injuring eight in the town of Woodbury, New York, police said.

The single vehicle accident occurred at about 3 p.m. on northbound side of Interstate 87, about an hour’s drive north of New York City, Xinhua quoted a police spokesman as saying.

Six people in the van were killed, he said.
