Man robs 60,000 euros from Helsinki bank

HELSINKI - A man of “foreign origin” robbed a bank in Finland’s capital city Helsinki and took away 60,000 euros ($78,000) in cash Friday, police said.

The suspected robber at the bank at Osuuspankki was a “foreign male of short stature, aged 25 to 30, wearing a dark baseball cap and coat”, Xinhua reported.

Police are searching for the robber across the city and are monitoring the city’s harbours and airport.
