NEW YORK CITY (GaeaTimes.com)-A New York City resident named Thomas Magill got a new lease of life on Tuesday when he survived a fall from the roof of a 39 storied building. The 22-year-old man was apparently trying the commit suicide but landed onto a parked car that saved his life. Thomas Magill however, is in a critical condition and has suffered broken legs. The incident occurred on Tuesday. However, why Thomas Magill tried to end his life is not yet clear.
The witnesses who saw Thomas Magill taking that fatal leap mentioned to media sources that the person was trying to commit suicide by jumping from the high rise. The witnesses held that they saw Thomas Magill falling from past their windows. While there is no doubt about the fact that if Thomas Magill had landed on the street, he would have died immediately, God wanted it other way and Thomas Magill landed in the backseat area of the car. He reportedly crashed on the windshield of the car and then landed into the backseat. The Dodge Charger that suffered the burnt of the fall was owned by Guy McCormack of Old Bridge, New Jersey.
The apparently religious owner of the car that saved the life Thomas Magill said to media sources that he is convinced that it is the power of the rosary beads that he had kept inside the car which saved the life of the young man. However, Thomas Magill is not the first New Yorker in the recent past who have tried to commit suicide and survived a high-rise fall.
