40 injured as bus turns turtle in Delhi

NEW DELHI - At least 40 people were injured Monday when a tourist bus from Rajasthan turned turtle in east Delhi in the wee hours, police said.

The bus overturned near Yamuna Vihar D-block locality at around 2.30 a.m., a senior police official said.

“Forty people were injured of whom two are stated to be in critical condition. They are being treated in the Guru Teg Bahadur Hospital,” the police official said.

“The cause of the accident is yet to be ascertained,” he added.
