Three LIC officials killed in road accident

BOKARO - Three Life Insurance Corporation (LIC) officials were killed and one was critically injured when a truck hit their car in this Jharkhand city Saturday, police said.

According to police, four LIC officials posted at the Bermo branch of the district were returning to their office from Bokaro Saturday afternoon, when the accident occurred at Jarmundi village.

Three of them - identified as Mithilesh Kumar, Ajay Mukherjee and Shashi Bhushan - died on the spot and one was seriously injured. The injured has been admitted to a local hospital where his condition is stated to be critical.
