Nicole John Dies After Fall

NEW YORK (GaeaTimes.com)- 17 year daughter of US Ambassador to Thailand Eric John, Nicole John, died after falling 22 stories from the balcony of a high rise in Manhattan. Reports suggest that she fell off from the 25th floor balcony and landed on the 3rd floor ledge. A camera was found nearby which indicated that Nicole John might have been trying to take a picture from the balcony before she slipped and fell. Her death is believed to have been an accident though a man was arrested shortly after she fell. The accident took place in the early hours of Friday.

It has been reported that Nicole John was drinking at the time of the accident and the arrest was related to the supply of alcohol to the minor. The police have said that Nicole John and her friends were out partying at Tenjune, a club in Meatpacking District, before they gathered at the high rise apartment. They headed to the apartment that was leased by the man who was arrested later and continued the party. The police believe that the apartment was cleaned up before the investigators turned up but at least a dozen people were drinking there on Friday.

Nicole John was an incoming college freshman at the Parsons The New School for Design at New York City. She graduated from an international school in Bangkok earlier and also possessed a fake Brazilian ID where her age was 23 or 24. More details about the death of the young student is expected to emerge after the autopsy which is scheduled to take place today.
