Austria: 10 people missing after rafting accident
VIENNA — Austrian police say about 10 people are missing after their boats capsized during a river rafting tour.
Police spokesman Egon Voegel told national broadcaster ORF on Saturday that 30 rescue workers are searching for the rafters on the Bregenzerach River in Austria’s most western province of Vorarlberg.
Voegel said 25 rafters had landed in the river after their boats capsized but 15 were immediately rescued.
