Man hit by MCD dumper, dies

NEW DELHI - A 22-year-old factory worker was killed when he was hit by a dumper of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) Monday in north Delhi, police said.

Kasim Raza was hit by the dumper at 9.30 a.m. in Seelampur area.

“He worked for an embroidery factory. He hailed from Uttar Pradesh,” a police official said.

Raza was taken to Guru Tegh Bahadur Hospital but died on the way.

The driver of the dumper has been arrested.
