Dubai, Aug 22 (IANS/WAM) Ready-to-eat processed food has been provided to the flood-hit people in Pakistan’s Punjab province by the Red Crescent Authority (RCA) of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), an official said.

RCA officials arrived in Punjab and airdropped 10 tonnes of wheat flour and processed food products at a makeshift camp near Multan, RCA Sharjah branch head Khamis Al Suwaidi said.

The team is also procuring supplies from Multan’s local markets to carry them to survivors in different areas of the province, he said.
