Speed radar guns for Delhi Police

NEW DELHI - Delhi Police will soon procure compact modular speed measurement devices to check over-speeding of vehicles, the Lok Sabha was informed Tuesday.

Minister of state for home Mullappally Ramachandran told the Lok Sabha that the device is capable of being used even during the night and speed detection would be automatic. Data along with coloured digital image can also be recorded.

An amount of Rs.525 lakh has been earmarked for the procurement of compact modular speed measurement devices.
