WASHINGTON - JetBlue flight attendant Steven Slater suddenly refused to comment on what caused the bloody gash on his forehead that he originally blamed on a luggage-greedy passenger, a media report said Sunday.

“I can’t say anything about it,” he said Saturday in a turnabout from the elaborate story of an onboard ordeal laid out by his lawyer earlier, New York Post reported on its website.

The first two passengers to board the flight have told the Post that Slater already had the facial wound when they saw him.

The Queens district attorney’s office came to the same conclusion after grilling nearly all passengers and crew.

Slater wouldn’t comment on the alleged holes in his story.
