Two held in fake visa racket

NEW DELHI - Two people were arrested in the national capital for running a fake European visa racket, police said Saturday.

Rajesh Kumar Jha, 40, and Rahul Kumar, 24, were apprehended near Mata Sundari College Thursday. They are residents of Noida and Mayur Vihar, respectively, said Deputy Commissioner of Police Jaspal Singh.

According to police, the duo used to target people who do not meet the parameters required to get visa to European countries.

Two fake German and Schengen visas, few passports, forged Russian invitation letters, Rs.2.78 lakh in cash and two Russian SIM cards were recovered from their possession, the officer said.
