Pregnant woman found dead in park

NEW DELHI - A 22-year-old pregnant woman was found dead in a park in west Delhi Thursday, police said.

Neetu was found in the park near her residence in Ramdhari Colony in Burari area. Her body had injury marks, a senior police official said.

Her husband, Amit Chandra, 25 has been detained for interrogation.

“There are allegations Chandra used to beat Neetu,” police said.

The couple got married against the wishes of their families and were staying in rented accommodation in the area.
