Man passing himself of as Delhi cop arrested

NEW DELHI - A man passing himself off as a constable of the Delhi Police has been arrested and a fake police identity card seized from him, police said Tuesday.

The accused has been identified as Vikas, 23, a resident of Sonepat in Haryana.

Vikas, 23, was arrested at the Sindhu border with Haryana in north Delhi. “He introduced himself as a constable of Delhi Police and when asked for an identity card, he produced a fake ID card of the Delhi Police,” a police official said.
