Mom, child die as drunk driver rams vehicle into house

Rio de Janeiro, Aug 3 (IANS/EFE) A woman and her baby was killed when a drunk driver rammed his vehicle into a house in southern Brazil, police said.

Five people were injured in the accident early Sunday in Colombo suburb of Curitiba city.

The 18-year-old man, who drove the vehicle, does not have a driver’s license. He was arrested.

He told police that the vehicle was registered in his mother’s name.
