1 killed in plane crash pulled from Lake Michigan
LUDINGTON, Mich. — Authorities have recovered another victim of a small plane crash in Lake Michigan more than a week ago.
The Mason County, Mich., Sheriff’s Office says the victim’s body was recovered Saturday night. One of the four missing passengers still has not been recovered.
All of the victims were on a medical plane that crashed into Lake Michigan on July 23.
The body that was recovered is that of either co-pilot Earl Davidson or Dr. James Hall. The medical examiner still must positively identify the body.
Bodies belonging to Alma school superintendent Don Pavlik and his wife, Irene, were recovered Friday.
The pilot was rescued the day of the crash, but crews gave up hope of finding other survivors after searching the area for 27 hours.
