Shooting incident outside Haryana chief minister’s house

ROHTAK - Unidentified men in a Maruti Alto car opened fired on two youths outside the private residence of Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda here Saturday, said police.
According to the police, the men fired at the two youths crossing a road in this high-security area, injuring them.
“The injured youths were taken to hospital in a very serious condition. However, the accused managed to flee. We have alerted all police check posts and officials stationed at border areas,” said a police official.
He added, “We have registered a case and constituted special teams to nab the accused. We hope to arrest them at the earliest.”
The incident is a major breach of security as scores of police officials are deployed near Hooda’s home.
Rohtak town is around 240 km from state capital Chandigarh.
