Cop held for assaulting wife, son

NEW DELHI - A Delhi Police constable was arrested Sunday for assaulting his wife and 15-year-old son.

Naresh is posted at the Police Control Room and lives with his wife and two sons at the Hauz Khas police quarters.

“At 6 a.m. he had an argument with his wife. When his son Rupesh intervened, he slapped him and attacked his face with a hairpin. His son got severely injured,” a police officer said.

Police registered a case of assault on the wife’s complaint.
