12-year-old boy rapes girl older than him

NEW DELHI - In a shocking incident, a 12-year-old boy raped a 14-year-old girl in the Tilak Marg area of central Delhi, police said Thursday.

The incident took place in the servants quarter of an Indian Administrative Service official on Bhagwan Das Road Wednesday, police said.

“The boy has been arrested and sent to a juvenile home,” an official said.

A rape case was registered after the girl’s medical examination, he said.

As per the complaint filed by the girl’s parents, their daughter was raped when she was alone in the quarter.

The parents of both the girl and the boy are work as domestic helps in the homes of government officials, police said.
