Bus crash in Atlantic City hurts 24, 2 critically
ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. — Police say 24 people were injured when a bus crashed while on its way into Atlantic City, N.J.
Police Lt. Charles Love says the bus driver was thrown from the vehicle when it collided with a car. He says two people are in critical condition and have been taken to a hospital in Atlantic City.
Love says 50 people were aboard the bus owned by Sun Lee Bus Co. He believes it was carrying passengers from New York’s Chinatown.
The accident occurred shortly before 11:30 a.m. Thursday.
(This version corrects the story with authorities now saying two people were critically injured instead of three.)
