5.5-magnitude quake hits Canada

OTTAWA - An earthquake of magnitude 5.5 on the Richter scale struck the Ontario-Quebec border region in Canada Wednesday, the US Geological Survey (USGS) said.
The quake occurred at a depth of 19.2 km at 1:41 p.m. local time and its epicentre was 61 km north from Ottawa, Xinhua reported
No damage was reported.
The quake was also felt in Canadian capital city Toronto and some parts of United States of America such as New York, Vermont and Michigan.
